How do I launch the Autopay payment gateway?

The Autopay payment gateway will enable you to accept online payments efficiently and securely in your online shop or website.

Below you will find all the information you need to activate your online payment efficiently.

About implementation

Confirmation of purchase for the customer

You are required to provide your customer with a receipt confirming payment. The document can be delivered by post or electronically - make sure you implement the right solutions.

The account should include the following information:

  • the name of the person ordering the payment
  • transaction date
  • transaction amount
  • currency of the transaction
  • the name of your company
  • your company's web address
  • information on products sold

Information on payment cards

If you want your shop customers to be able to use card payments, remember to:

  • add appropriate delivery times for card payments
  • display information about the possibility of paying by card in a prominent place
  • display in full colour the current Visa and MasterCard logos
  • include a brief reference to Autopay and our nominated card acquirer on your site, including the web address autopay.pl and the address of the entity indicated.
  • add a privacy policy to its website

Implementation of a payment gateway

We created the Autopay payment gateway based on its versatility, security, wide reach and simplicity of implementation. To achieve the last of these goals, we systematically built a network of partners offering our online payments.

To enable payments on your site, it is necessary to make verification transfer.

Currently, the implementation of a payment gateway can take place in two ways:

Autopay portal system

The Autopay portal is our transaction portal where you will find all the information about a shop that uses our online payments and completed transactions. It is where you will find invoices, sales reports and other necessary data.

If you use services integratorwho has implemented the Autopay payment gateway in their system and would like to gain access to the Autopay portal - please contact us via the contact form (in the contact data, enter the e-mail address you used when registering with the integrator).

If, on the other hand, you use plug-ins and want to gain access to the Autopay portal:

Register via this link

Remember to provide a set of genuine details (first name, surname, contact telephone number, email address, VAT number, address of the online shop where you want to connect online payments, information about the real beneficiaries) and to select the sales platform you are using (e.g. PrestaShop, WooCommerce, etc.) - we will later use them to communicate with you.

Fill in all fields with correct and true data - only in this way will you be able to activate online payments. Read and accept the Statements, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. After submitting the form you will see this message.

Information!

In the case of a company, the beneficial owner is called the person who holds 25% or more of the shares. This information can be found in the National Court Register. In the case of sole proprietorships businesses and civil partnerships, the beneficiary is the person in whose name the business is registered.

Go to your mailbox and activate your account by clicking on the link that you will find in the email.

You will hit a screen allowing you to complete the verification. Enter SMS codewhich you have received from us on the phone number you provided and click 'CONFIRM'.

You will then be taken to a screen allowing you to set the a new password for your production account.

The password should consist of at least 3 of the 4 character categories:

  1. minimum 8 characters,
  2. upper and lower case,
  3. figures,
  4. special characters: !@#$%^.&*(){}[]:;,<>?+_-

Enter a new password and click 'Save'.

You will thus log in to the production version of the portal on the Autopay portal, which is available under at.

The last step you need to take to activate online payments is final verification of your service. Click on the green button and the process will begin allowing you to request a verification transfer. Details are discussed in section Verification.

Activation of payments using the plug-in

Start by downloading the appropriate plugin (you can find all Autopay plugins here). Then log into the administration panel in your online shop and add the downloaded plugin. The next steps may vary depending on which plugin you use, so we have prepared special instructions for implementing and activating Autopay online payments on a case-by-case basis.

Go to the instructions relating to the plug-in you are using and follow them and you will be sure to successfully launch online payments in your shop.

Activation of payments with integrated partners

The process of implementing and activating Autopay online payments depends on which partner you use. For this reason, we have prepared special instructions for the implementation and activation of Autopay online payments on a case-by-case basis.

Verification

Verification is a regular part of the Autopay online payment activation process, regardless of whether you implement payments via the Autopay portal (using a plug-in) or on an integrated partner's system.

To complete the verification (and pay for the verification) you need to order a verification transfer using the method of your choice. You can do this after registering on Autopay and logging into your user account. You will then see a button that will allow you to order a verification transfer.

The cost of the verification transfer depends on the type of your business. It amounts to PLN 49 and for unregistered business to PLN 199.

What should I keep in mind when ordering a verification transfer?

Order a transfer from the bank account provided during registration.

If you do not see your bank among the available payment methods - select 'I have an account with another bank'. The system will then automatically generate the data needed for the verification transfer and send it to the e-mail address you have indicated. You will also see them in the browser window, from where you can copy them to the clipboard (↓). Remember not to change any of the data.

Select 'I have an account with another bank' also if you want to request a transfer from your business account. Otherwise (e.g. when you select 'Pay with ING'), the payment gateway will redirect you to the online banking login screen for personal rather than business banking.

Important!

Before you order a verification transfer, make sure that your online shop is properly prepared. Here you will find a list of things to keep in mind.

How long does verification take?

To carry out the verification, we usually need up to 24 hours from receipt of payment.

After verification, we will send you a message to the e-mail address assigned to your shop account (provided by you during registration), in which we will inform you about the launch of the payment service.

If, during the verification process, we find that we need additional data or information from you - we will also ask you for this by email, so we encourage you to check your email regularly.

The activation of card payments and the associated additional verification is a separate process that takes longer than the activation of other payment methods. We will inform you of the outcome in a separate email.

To complete the online payment activation process:

  • log in to your administration portal on Autopay
  • copy the key and the hash and add them in the administration panel of your online shop

Once you have successfully passed verification - online payments in your online shop will be active.
